Randy was born in Warren on March 3, 1952. Former NFL linebacker who was a member of the Denver Broncos’ “Orange Crush” defense of the 1970s and 1980s. A 7-time Pro Bowler and 5-time First-team All-Pro, he’s considered by many in the sport to be one of the best, and perhaps under-appreciated, to ever play his position.

He attended Ohio State University, where he played for legendary coach Woody Hayes and came sixth in Heisman Trophy voting as a senior. He was the 14th overall pick in 1974.

Did you know: He’s a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and Denver Broncos Ring of Honor. He was the 1978 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
