Julia was born in Missouri, United States on February 18, 1974. Activist known for her pro-environmental and anti-tax work. She lived for more than a year in a giant redwood tree and co-authored such books as The Legacy of Luna and One Makes the Difference.
As a young woman, she was involved in a serious car accident that required her to re-learn how to walk and speak.
